Monthly Prices/Info

1. •Open Fencing Only-$60/month(with your equipment) Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00-8:30
   

2. •Beginner Classes with Equipment Rental-$110/8 weeks.
   

3. •Continuing Training Classes-$75/month Includes Open Fencing.
   

4. •Competitive Classes - $100/month, including open fencing, and strip coaching at local and national events. *Fencers are expected to show up at 6:30, warm-up and stretch before formal instruction at 7:00 sharp. This program is specifically designed for dedicated, experienced fencers who will attend at least one tournament a month. Expectations will be high. So will the results.
   

5. •Private lessons are available for competitive members individually and in discounted packages. Talk to Judy for details.

2. As always, if you send someone in who signs up for a class, you will receive a $10 credit on your fees.
   

3. We will follow Greenville County Schools for weather closings regarding classes. Please watch emails for updates as to whether or not the Academy will be available for open fencing after an announced school closure.
   

4. We offer an Introduction to fencing class once every two months, and your first class is always FREE. Please call or email for more details.
   

5. You may also contact us to arrange special classes for your group. (Birthday parties, church groups, home school group and after school clubs.)
   

Payments

For those of you who are interested in payment without paper checks, please let Judy know. We are now able to send you an email and there will be a click to pay button there. You will need to enter the routing and checking account number. This is a secure system for your convenience. If you prefer, you may still drop your check in the payment box located on the desk at the academy. I will have slips available for those of you who choose to have private lessons added to your bill.

Equipment

Academy equipment is for our beginner classes. If you have been fencing for more than a month after an introductory program, you will need to purchase equipment. If you do not wish to purchase equipment, we must charge rental fees. These fees are posted in the Academy. We are no longer able to have equipment for “borrowing." You need to arrange for equipment rental to insure the equipment is set aside and available for your use. If you wish to fence more than one weapon in the club, you must purchase equipment for this use. Because our equipment is used for training purposes, we can’t guarantee they will pass all inspections, so they are not available for tournament use. If there is a problem, please see Judy. Some items are available for purchase or you may work with vendors personally.

USA Fencing Membership

The new fencing season starts on August 1, which means you must have either a US Fencing competitive($70/year) or a non-competitive membership($5/year-you can pay an additional $65 if you would like to compete later). Please bring proof of payment or you may fill out required paperwork at Foothills. This is a national requirement.
