Beginner Camps at Christ Church Episcopal School

We are thrilled to announce that we will host summer camps for beginner students with Christ Church Episcopal School! These 5 day camps will go over an array of different topics to help develop the skills of each student. Beginner fencers will learn about the foil sword and develop fundamental bladework and footwork. Camps will also include games and training drills that will help each student increase speed, power, balance, and endurance all while having lots of fun! After completing these camps your child will have the opportunity to move into our continuing programs at the academy. These camps are designed for grades 3rd-8th. Intermediate Camps at Foothills Fencing Academy

Foothills also offers intermediate camps for competitve students. During these 5-day camps, students will work through advance footwork and compound offensive and defensive tactics. Students will also learn proper weightlifting techniques like squats, rows, deadlifts, and presses. Things like proper nutrition, and recovery will also be discussed. This camp is specifically designed for students who have at least 1 full year of competitive fencing experience and are at least 13 years of age. To learn more and to register, click the link below.
